Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Officer

Multinational mineral drilling company is seeking applications

from Lao Nationals who have experience working in safety and /

or environmental roles to join an experienced EHS team with field

operations in Laos.

The Position Requirements:

• Lao national male or female, aged 25-35 years old

• Formal training in Safety and/or Environmental fields

• At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably with an

international company

• Good level of English language writing, reading, speaking and

listening

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of EHS hazard

categories and risk management procedures (JSA/SOP)

• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and 18001 Standards

• Knowledge and understanding of Lao EHS legislation

• Experience working with local and expatriate workers

• Proven ability to work as part of a team

• Strong IT ability with above average typing and experience

using MS office and web based skills

EHS work experience in mining, construction or oil and gas fields

highly regarded.
