Savan Vegas Hotel and Casino is looking for the SQL Database Administrator to work in the Department of IT at our Savannakhet, Laos’s location. Due to our continue growth the following employment opportunities exist:

Primary Job Responsibilities:

•Participate in database planning, implementation and performance tuning

• Implement the database backup and recovery procedures for various application systems

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining the database system

• Installation of new software, configuration of hardware and software with system administrator, security administration etc.

• Ability to work in a team environment.

• Ability to work under time pressure.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in Database Administration, with strong exposure and performance tuning.

• Strong technical exposure with MS SQL Server

• Strong exposure toward windows & stored procedure scripting, windows architecture, .net, reporting and SQL server integration.

• Good understanding of relational database management systems.

• Exposure to an AS/400 environment is an advantage.

• Must have good English communication skills both verbal and written;

• Exposure to a Clustered SQL Environment is an advantage.
